Acorn Valley Campground

… activities, and the park is well maintained. The only issue is the campground. There is one shower house, I feel there needs to be at lease two. If you are at a campsite at the bottom of the hill, it is a long walk to that bath house.

Well kept park, beautiful trees, showers batrooms are in good condition. Nice metal picnic tables & fire rings at each site. There is a really large group camping area with covered pavilions. More tent camping available than RV …

We enjoy this place for camping. It is quiet, nice to enjoy the nature. The shower house was pretty clean and had great, hot water! We enjoy this campground when we come back to the Des Moines area.
