Sherwood Island State Park

It was nice. I enjoyed walking, and getting wet in the water was pretty clear and clean. They have bathrooms and an outside shower. You can take the sun day or go to the shade trees 🌳. Lots of parking free for Bridgeport residents. I know …

When compared to other state beaches, this one probably has more rocks and shells than average and a less good foot washing/outdoor shower area. Still a nice place to visit. Probably worth going to if it’s the closest one to you.

Nice spacious state park. Lot of places to barbecue and play in the sand. Trash disposal available. Well maintained restrooms and shower head.
