California Dreams Hostel - Ocean Beach

Had a great stay here while I was in town for a conference and sightseeing. The beds have a privacy curtain and individual power sockets, and there were plenty of bathrooms. Safe area for a solo traveler and it was easy walking distance to the conference center. There are large lockers you can fit your bags in. I would stay here again!

this hostel had me. Traveling down from SF I didn’t need some fancy non sense, I wanted charm, I wanted to meet people and I wanted a comfortable and clean place to explore San Diego - this was it! Would totally come back. Loved the staff, check in was easy and was able to meet some great people along the way
