York Rowntree Park Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

Came here for Christmas for the 2nd year running and had a lovely time at this site again. The facilities are warm clean with pipping hot showers . The wash up is enclosed and warm. Pitches are well maintained and the site is very tidy. It’s very close to York Center about a 15 minute walk. Masses of restaurants, shops , theatres and there’s museums also. A nice touch was on Christmas morning there was a tub of chocolates outside our van…. Probably Father Christmas Definitely be back.

Great camp site. Easy walk into York. Very friendly staff. Prone to flooding because of proximity to river. Good clean shower block. Dog loves it because theres open land she can run free on a short distance away.
