York Beechwood Grange Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

Really good site with spacious pitches. Great dog walk on-site and down the access road for a leg stretch. Wardens we met were super friendly and actually happy to chat. One of them appears to be out doing everything from vehicle marshalling, giving advice and helping folks on their pitches. All round solid bloke. Facilities clean all the time. Shower block feels like a sauna and could do with a few extra windows. Bins are a pain, giant ones at the entrance and none across the site. Had to help an elderly couple who couldn’t lift the industrial bin lids! This needs a rethink. One size doesn’t fit all regardless of environmental targets and cost saving. Park and ride is nearby which is excellent along with M&S, Sainsbury’s etc. Will be back next year, with my roll of black bin bags.

Great camp site very clean. showers and toilet facilities were spotless and warm, the site also has a secure dog run and children's play area the only down side was the lack of public transport close by which makes the site a bit remote if you are in a motorhome, but all in all a very pleasant stay thanks to nice helpful staff😁👍
