YHA Helmsley

A family of four, we have just stayed for 3 nights, camping in the grounds. It's smaller compared to some other YHA's we've stayed in but excellent all round. The location (a short walk to the village centre) is great, the facilities, including the kitchen, shower rooms, eating and lounge areas have everything you need and are kept clean thoroughly. The camping area is a small, flat garden that fits 6-8 good sized tents. There are picnic tables and benches in the camping area so if you're camping you don't need to bring any tables or camping chairs.The staff were all really friendly and hard working. Helmsley itself is absolutely beautiful and we will definitely be back to this gem of a place.

Absolutley AMAZING service! So so kind and lovely. |I made a special request beforehand and the staff were so generous with it, they properly went above and beyond. Room was really neat and tidy, showers and toilets were lovely and clean.||Thank you so much!
