We were coming back from our holiday near York wed 9 th July with our caravan stopped in westbound cause our car was letting out black smoke and struggling we phoned RAC and we were there all day until they phoned and said our caravan was too big and would not take it so they picked my husband and car up at 7.30 pm and took him home in north wales and I stayed with caravan my husband picked my father in law car up and came back ,which wasn’t till 12.30am but we had to stay over night cause connection wasn’t the right one which we sorted out in the morning all the staff were so lovely and helpful especially Allison who lent me a phone charger we had food and drink there ,toilets were immaculate and they even have a shower Thankyou everyone who helped with our nightmare day ,

I recently read that this was one of the worst services in the country. I can't see why it should be given that title - really nice, clean, modern toilets with good water pressure and fancy modern Dyson dryers that actually work. Decent food options, plenty of parking and EV charging - always a good place to stop!
