Kit that keeps breaking down (insufficient maintenance), you barely get a good morning going in, never a goodbye leaving, if you don't have a personal trainer expect 0 assistance, hygiene standards especially in the pool very low, "special" classes are extra on the price, but without guarantee for a place (meaning you could be paying but all spots could be prebooked), prices last year went up by 5%, this year 6.3% and they don't even offer 24h access to the gym. Going down fast.

Joined here earlier this year. Literally the worst gym I have been to. The whole place is off such a weird atmosphere everywhere you go from the changing rooms, gym and pool/sauna area. The changing rooms are horrible and certain people in there make the simple task of getting changed feel very uncomfortable as it is very small. People behaving in there like it’s a 3rd world country from coughing and spitting to throwing rubbish all over. I feel sorry for the staff that have to clean it up. The clientele in there are not what you’d expect from a high price, premium gym. Lots of wannabe gangsters who again make it feel very uncomfortable in there. The sauna area is a joke. There’s always a class on there so even if you go during the day your relaxing sauna/ jacuzzi session will be interrupted by crying children or, the swarm of people finishing the water aerobics class that seem to take over everything and think they own the place after their class. Gym etiquette is some of the worst I have ever seen in a gym. Again the wannabe gangster behaviour carries on up there. Lots of seedy men and good luck finding any of the weights as it seems like it is normal here to get a piece of equipment out and never put it back. As for the parking, this is something that you will see in lots of other reviews and yes it really is that bad. They have decided to extent the Hotel and have halved the size of the car park without any warning. There was no warning of this for new members and if I had known I wouldn’t have joined. Even though I only go during the day, it is still impossible to park and like mentioned in other reviews they are actively fining people not it a correct space - their answer to this is giving members access to another car park at the other side of the industrial estate that is also close to overflowing itself which means you have to park right at the other side of it meaning a minimum 5 min walk from there to the gym. This is highly inconvenient especially at this time of year, dark nights, dodgy people around. My regret is not having a proper look around this gym before joining. If you are reading this review DO NOT join here. They will lock you into a contract and then you are forced to drag yourself to this hell hole in fear of wasting nearly £60 every month.
