Swallowholme Camping & Caravan Park

Myself and my girlfriend hired a VW camper van and that’s here over the august bank holiday weekend. Booked it a little short notice and Pam was really helpful and friendly. The campsite is adjacent to a railway line which I was a little concerned about. When we arrived the place was beautiful. The sound of the trains going by really didn’t bother us in the slightest. The place was really clean. Clean toilets and showers and washing up are. Would 100% recommend and will be returning. Thank you Pam.

Stayed 3 nights on a grass pitch on the small tourer part of the site. Easy access, well looked after pitches and planting. Friendly owners who allowed us to choose from the pitches available when we arrived ( 7 was good). Perfectly spotless shower block with adequate number of toilets and showers although push button showers annoyingly cold for the first 4 pushes!! Garage with shop within 15 minutes walk and a brilliant location for getting out and about on the train as Bamford Station very near. There are quite a few trains passing very close to the site but we didn't find them obtrusive at all. Loved the area and would definitely stay at this site again. 🙂
