An affordable centre for swimming with good facilities. The only issue is the lack of management of the people that book lane swimming. Half of the people attending can barely swim or swim way too fast in the slow lane, making it difficult for others to maintain a steady pace. Others swim half a length and then stand in the middle of the pool trying to catch their breath, essentially becoming a human obstacle fir everyone to swim around. As well as this, there are others who just sit chatting in the shallow end, creating another awkward obstacle. It would be nice if lifeguards or other staff members could try to manage these issues to make it a nice experience for those trying to swim.

The pool is great, nice and clean and affordable. The life guard that was on shift on the 12/08/25 at the 6 o’clock lane swimming, spent roughly 45 mins talking to a young girl in the pool and messing around, splashing and constantly throwing floats from the tall chair. He wasn’t paying attention to anyone else just entertaining the young gir.
