First Swimming session at this location... All I can say is that it wasn't a pleasant one. Issue 1 - There was a strong, unpleasant smell in the changing rooms as if there was a backlog in the toilet. Issue 2 - The layout of the changing facilities were badly designed and confusing. There is female toilets next to male changing and male toilets next to female, where is the logic in that? There should be completely separate changing rooms/toilets for male and female or make it gender neutral with cubicles for showers and toilets. Issue 3 - Changing facilities do not include mirrors or sinks to use after the swim. Those who wish to do their hair and make yourself presentable before leaving only have mirrors in the main corridor. You have to go back and forth to your locker to get ready. Issue 4 - The showers are not a constant temperature, it runs hot and cold. The who layout of this facility does not flow, it's a bad design. However, all that being said, the actual pool itself is very good.

Nice swimming ground. I came here for a gala on 12/7/25 and the gala was fantastically organised. Huge pool but utterly FREEZING when you first get in. The viewing area is also boiling. Other than that, it's a great place to swim.
