Been going to this gym for 15 years when I come to York. Today will be the last time. The customer service was pretty shocking. After paying for my day pass, I politely asked if they still give towels as when I have been in the past they have been provided, he responded "no" I said OK no problem went up to the changing room then remembered I didn't have a locker key so I returned downstairs to the desk and asked if I could have a locker key, the said nothing rolled his eyes then provided. When I was leaving and returned he said nothing, he was generally quite aggressive. I don't know what his problem was. In future I will travel further to another gym where I am.sure they will have friendly professional staff.

Pros: Great class and PT instructors - Deena, Tori, Hannah that I’ve tried. Classes are plentiful, quality and in a spacious studio Bathroom is pretty good (looks only a couple of years old) with hairdryers, ample lockers and toilets Wide range of gym equipment Negatives: 2 of the showers don’t work No hooks in showers or on doors No shampoo in showers Gym area with cardio equipment is boiling General aesthetics are very late 90s early noughties but not in a good way Gym equipment is rusty and dated. It’s very old and seriously needs replacing. It looks dirty as it’s gone past surface cleaning. The whole place needs replastering, air conditioning, painting, new windows / roof Drinks for sale are processed energy drinks / pre packaged cappucinos
