Stayed at the express pitch on our way up to the Lakes. Superb spot, great views and all the facilities we required. Although not hard standing, ground was perfectly level so didn't need to muck around trying to drive up tiny ramps on motorhome. Toilet, shower and washing up facilities were excellent. Shower was beautifully clean and warm. Even provided with shower gel, shampoo and washing up liquid (all good for environment)! We tried to ensure we left facilities clean but this would have been easier with something to do that with! Not a criticism, just wanted to leave the facilities as beautifully as we had found them. Great refuge and recycling (incl dog poo!) facilities. All in all the perfect 1 night stop over. Thanks so much. Harriet, Jo and dogs

Visited with my girlfriend for a couple of nights during my birthday. All of the hosts on site are friendly, helpful and on hand whatever your needs might be. Checking in and going that extra mile throughout. The camping setup, shower / toilet etc. is extremely convenient and well maintained, with the tack room only a short walk for storing any food or purchasing anything you may need. Some nice walks on site & local amenities are never that far away should you need anything. An excellent experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return ! Thank you!
