The Wave Fitness

I've been using this gym for long time now and I do enjoy the classes and the gym itself. However they have 3 swimming lanes, slow, medium and fast. I am a medium pace swimmer, and every time I go, I am effectively forced to go into the fast lane, because people are swimming slower than a medium pace in the medium lane, but kids end up playing in the fast lane. The life guards turn a blind eye to this and don't enforce the rules, or even basic etiquette. I want to train and improve my fittness but I am struggling to do so because of this.

The swimming pool is pretty bad. How long's it been open and half the changing room lockers are broken? The pool is extremely short and shallow with 4 narrow lanes. I saw many people swimming wearing PJs, T-shirts etc., lifeguard said nothing. Because the pool is so small it's quickly crowded and hard to swim. When I went in a heatwave tons of people were just standing chatting and lifeguard didn't care (would be OK if pool wasn't tiny) They closed the elephant for this?? 🤦‍♀️ Disappointing when it's the only city centre pool now (and my local pool doesn't open weekends 🙃)
