The Paddock Campsite

Positives - reasonably priced, hosts very welcoming, easy to find and a 5 minute walk to bus routes into Bridlington and Scarborough. Quiet after 11pm. Fire pit and wood available. Farm shop next door. Pub 5 minutes walk. Electric hookup available. Dog friendly. Negatives - overcrowded. Tents are literally on top of each other, each others tent strings where overlapping if they where that close. No ball games allowed (there wasn't enough room anyway given the tents where that cramped in) There was at least 10-15 minuets wait for a toilet between 7am-11pm as the toilets are wet rooms (x3) so family's where showering taking over the whole toilet block. The showers where filthy, probably due to the amount of people on site but we where walking through dirty wet toilet roll on the floor and puddles of muddy water when we where getting out of the shower. It's probably a good idea to have the toilets separate and consider having fewer people.

We arrived late but that wasn't a problem. The owners told us who to contact so we could get passed the barrier. The site is small but well kept. The ground was level. There is no onsite shower block but as most people are in caravans and motor homes with their own facilities that was nit a problem.
