PureGym Coventry Warwickshire Shopping Park

It's an okay gym. It's annoyingly busy at 6am and even 10pm but it's not so much the amount of people that's the issue (I'm one of them!); it's that there's not enough of each type of machine to serve 70+ people. Gym goers want to get in, do their workout and go home/to work, so I end up skipping machines I wanted to use or working out another muscle group I hadn't planned to. Even treadmills are all taken up sometimes so getting a warmup in using them isn't a guarantee at busy times. If a group are working out together then you can basically kiss goodbye to being able to use whatever machines they're taking up. It's a shame and eventually I may have to switch gyms. Also the showers are weird with frosted glass and huge gaps under the doors. Not great for those who value privacy.

Great facility. Can be busy at peak times but outside that plenty of equipment free to use. Good selection of equipment to choose from. From cardio machines to resistance to weights. Pretty clean and tidy. Always seems to be somebody about to help. Men's changing room leaves a little to be desired, but hey, it's men and it's a gym. What do you expect? 👊💪
