Holcombe House

Stayed here for two nights. Easy walk from the train station and an easier walk back to the town centre. Great location with a 24 hour McDonald's 2 minutes away for breakfast or late night grub. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Shower room was fine, I had a bit of a mission trying to get a stable temperature in the shower the first time I used it but I strongly suspect other guests were using theirs at the same time and the hot water system was struggling. Second time was fine. Nice little garden out the back to sit with a coffee and listen to the birds. Entry codes were provided in plenty of time and I was made aware of the need for photo ID and a refundable security deposit well in advance. If you read your T's & C's there are no hidden surprises with this place. Very impressed and will definitely book again next time I am stopping in Wolverhampton.
