Cannock Chase Camping & Caravanning Club Site

Beautiful site in the middle of Cannock Chase. Spotlessly clean facilities (regularly being checked). Plenty of hot water for washing up (under cover). Laundry facilities £3.50 for wash, £1.00 for 20 mins in dryer. (Very clean room/equipment). Free hot showers (with seat) free hairdryers. Two cubicles with sink and mirror and handwash. Plenty of toilets. Always plenty of toilet roll and hand wash. Very good accessible shower/toilet, family friendly. Lovely choice of grass or hard standing pitches (level gravel) with or without electric. Well spaced pitches set at different angles so you don't feel too overlooked. Lovely peaceful setting. There is a little background traffic noise at times during the day, (not too intrusive) but not so noticeable after rush hour has passed. Lovely wooden play park with house/slide/swings. Staff are so friendly, helpful and very approachable. All the team work very hard to make your stay as welcoming and relaxing as possible. They obviously take pride in their site - it shows. Lovely walks all around in the forest. Large supermarkets 10 mins drive. We regularly use this site each month whilst visiting relatives in the area, and we wouldn't dream of going elsewhere. Relatively small site situated in the forest. Clean facilities, friendly staff, helpful too. Plenty of walks and bike rides for all abilities. If you are a bit more adventurous then get an Ordinance Survey map as the free maps are absolute rubbish. Quite a bit of road noise unfortunately but overall a good site.
