Saltash Travelodge is clearly one of their older hotels. I say "hotel", really I mean "Motel". It is located in a Service area just off the Tamar Bridge, so in Cornwall, just. It is described as two star and to be fair, I'd say that's accurate. It's pretty basic, clean, though my room faced the setting sun so when I went out, I left the window open and the curtains closed, otherwise the room was prone to being stuffy. The fan helped. I stayed there for 3 nights, using it as a base to explore Cornwall on my Harley. The amenities there food-wise, aren't great unless you like Burger King or Subway, both of whom share the Motel's foyer. I tended to eat out and simply sleep there overnight. The staff are quite friendly and helpful, the room was clean, everything worked, shower was fine. It is just basic and to be fair, I'd say it could do with being upgraded as it is showing its age somewhat. I probably wouldn't be inclined to stay there again personally unless it was for just one night either on my way into Cornwall, or on my way back out.
