South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park

Our second time staying here, we stayed in Shaun last time which was amazing in its self. We were upgraded this time to a yurk called Virgo. O my gosh it was so cosy and beautiful place to stay. They have thought of everything. The decoration and lay out in them are great the log burner is such a great touch. The toilets and shower blocks were clean abd modern even down to having music playing in there is such a nice touch. The staff are always so welcoming and chatty always there to help. Would highly recommend. We will be sure to be going again. Thanks again 😊

Quite possibly one of the best 'facility' campsites in the South! From booking, communication is excellent, & then upon arrival, staff are amazing! Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, who are all very friendly & helpful, a complete joy & lovely to see in such a troubled industry where hospitality standards are challenged & differ considerably. The site itself is family friendly, ideal for couples & friends, but equally for solo travelers alike. There are a few different camping areas, open & grassy spaces, some quiet & leafy, areas, & a dedicated area for the Yurts & Sheppard's Huts; all beautifully kept, very clean, & spacious pitches. The site is located within easy reach to Poole & surrounding areas, either by car, bus or walking (roughly 1.5hours from Pool harbour & on public paths) The site facilities are excellent! 5* Plus! The shower blocks and toilet facilities are kept immaculate, with lovely hot & powerful showers, with little & rare waiting! The onsite food trucks are a nice addition if you don't fancy cooking, & offer different take-aways options on different days of the week. The converted Bar is fab! another great addition for the site & gives a sociable vibe for likeminded campers to share conversations, or just sit & relax. Onsite there is a great play area for children, and a dedicated 'off lead' doggy area, another lovely touch. The shop is good, offering morning pastries & coffee, however, I did feel the produce could be better, & given the locality, some meats, fish & diary from local suppliers might be nice. Within a 5 min walk you can visit the Cow Shed, & Pantry, a super area full of artisanal suppliers, selling lots of things such as gorgeous home Fragrances, Pottery & Gifts, Fill Up store, Wooden items, and a few more! I cant praise this campsite enough, & I cant wait to book again & visit!
