South Devon Camping Lower Terawhiti Farm

What a truly wonderful place! There was a huge group of us and they gave us a great space where we could make a camp. This site is back to how camping should be, no expensive on site shops, over priced food shops or rude staff. The campsite was clean, showers were hot, toilets were impeccable, clean and pretty much odour free. Anita and her family really couldn't do enough for us. Kids and the big kids had an absolute blast, being able to play in a very safe environment. Football matches with the other field, late night light up Frisbee and cubby. Veg shop was amazing, cows mooing was wonderful to wake up to and the sound of tractors thundering around made it even more homely. Fantastic beaches 10 min walk/3 minute drive away. Wonderful places to visit. Honestly what more could anyone need! Seen you next year

Have put 5 stars for rooms but obviously a campsite. I wanted to book for a large group of 13 tents and around 30 people which wasn't an issue. We were given a large space big enough for all of us. The local beach is amazing and the facilities are great. Its £1 for 5 minutes of a hot shower. Bargain. The toilets are drop toilets which we dont mind but always clean. The sinks are always clean. Fire pits can be rented and the wood is cheap. Honestly the best campsite I have been to. Throughout the booking process Anita responded quickly and gave us so much information about the local area. A beautiful spot and great chilled and relaxed campsite. Thoroughly recommend this place.
