The site is fairly well located and next to a nice dog walk close by. The site itself is very pleasant and the pitches are good. You cannot choose the pitch and you are told where to pitch and whether to go in forwards or backwards. Unfortunately however the toilet block lets the site down enormously as it is absolutely horrendous. It is very tired, outdated and unclean. The block has not been cleaned at all during the week we have been here. The toilets are old and unclean. There are broken bits everywhere and un emptied bins. The showers are even more unpleasant. They too small, dirty and in the women’s they have plastic curtains which cling to your body as you try to wash (🙈). There is a push button to get the shower started and then you have to keep pushing that button every 7 seconds to keep the shower running. There is nowhere to hang your clothes and there is no bench. Your clothes have to be wrapped up in a plastic bag or left outside so they don’t get wet but even outside of the shower there is nowhere to put that bag. The whole block is disgusting. In the laundry room is ok but again dated and there is no running hot water and two of the taps don’t even turn on. Unfortunately we will not be using this site again and the two couples I spoke to this week have both said the same and for the same reasons. If you have a dog you are NOT allowed to toilet it inside the grounds… The other Under 25’s and same sex groups of over 3 are not allowed to stay here???

Great location, good site, with lots of facilities (reception, shop, club house - serving meals, play area, swimming pool, laundry, washing up). Toilet blocks and washing up areas spotless. Pitches well maintained and ample size. …
