PureGym Bristol Eastgate

Really good gym in terms of equipment, tonnes of racks and benches and lots of space to do everything. This is however, the filthiest gym I have ever seen. Weights and equipment scattered all over the floor throughout the gym. The changing rooms are the worst I have seen and I have visited many pure gyms, staff checks are signed and place is still a tip. The showers are also very cold.

I went to this gym whilst spending time in Bristol. Even for a PureGym the standards are low. The dumbbells are out of order and dotted around the gym, left to be tripped over. This is the same with the plates. People would finish their set and just walk off, leaving plates on barbells and dumbbells where they were. One dumbbell had chewing gum stuck on it, that was dirty and had clearly been there a while. There were empty plastic water bottles, used tissues and even blood stained plasters on the floor. With various handles for cable machines there are paper towels and wipes just left on the floor. The staff don’t seem interested in keeping the gym tidy, rather leaning on their desk scrolling on their phones.
