Decent pool, friendly staff, clean changing rooms, the water is wet! Some say it is cold but I disagree. Different sessions for different age groups, aquafit sessions etc, plenty of opportunity for lane swimming.

If you value your health...............Avoid at all costs. I used the facilities last year when visiting the area and was surprised and disappointed with the cleaning standards in both the gym and pool. I thought I would give it another try, but it seems nothing has improved. In fact, it seems to have gotten worse. During my visit at the gym, the vast majority of users avoided cleanng the equipment after use. There is no signage to promote this and no supervision by staff. I was informed by another user that the only time staff are present is when they require their water bottle to be refilled. The onto the pool. This time I witnessed no one showering before entering the pool. There is a sign requesting shoes be removed prior to entering the changing facilities, but this also seems to be selective. Mind you, there was so much water on the floor, perhaps wellies would have been appropriate. Yes, it is outdated and could do with a thorough upgrade, but there is no excuse for cleanliness and this applies to both the providers and the customers. Re-educating customers on hygene standards and running an occasional mop over the floor is not to much to ask. I happens in my home town municipal pool, so it can happen here.
