Parkdean Resorts Sandford Holiday Park, Dorset

First got to the holiday park and it was pleasant. Very pretty holiday park, great layout, caravan easy to find. We booked a deluxe caravan which was nice, clean and all the extras as you would expect. The club, people are queuing from 5pm to get into the club, if you don’t want to queue, then do not expect to get a table, I was almost fishing with some idiot over a table I had been waiting for for over half an hour. We tried again on the Saturday night and gave up, just not a pleasant experience. The club is not big enough for the amount of people, entertainment was pretty decent though, so if you can get a table it’s probably worth going. The pool, the coldest pool I have ever been in, stayed in for 5 mins to jump into broken showers. Could be so much better but really don’t bother going to the swimming pool. Went for a curry at the local Nepalese restaurant which is just over a mile away, very nice food so well worth a visit if you like a curry. Over all mixed experience, I would stay again as a last resort.

This caravan park is great if you want a lot going on. It has lots of activities for family's with children of all ages, including an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, amusement arcade, crazy golf, play areas and nightly entertainment. Its also great to take dogs too. The caravan we stayed in was spacious and clean although they are packed in and are very close to the neighbouring vans..I would have preferred a little more space. The onsite food places like the fish and chip shop and chicken van were really nice if a little expensive as was the onsite shop, but if needs must its there!.x We went out of season so it was relatively quiet i probably wouldn't go back peak season as it would be way to busy and cramped for me. Overall we enjoyed our stay of 3 nights.
