We came here to camp as a base to explore the local area. The campsite is large and very relaxed. It did feel more like a festival than a campsite which made noise levels a little unsociable. If you are prepared for this then it's not an issue. Due to the large number of visitors they could definitely have done with more showers and washing up facilities. The water also needed to be warmer than 40 degrees for washing up. Everything was clean though. Obviously, there is plenty to do here as it is part of the larger activity centre. There is also a lovely walk nearby. I would highly recommend bringing screw rock pegs as even standard rock pegs weren't strong enough to secure tents to the ground.
