A fantastic camping site in a spectacle location with great food and art businesses on the same site. Beautiful panoramic views across the Rame Peninsula and the Plymouth sound. A 20 minute walk down to Kingsand and Cawsand beaches (harder work going back up with tired kids). The facilities are well maintained (there were staff members cleaning the loos at 6am and still topping up supplies of loo roll at midnight). There is a common room with sofas, lots of charging sockets, some books and board games as well as lots of sinks for washing up. The showers were actually verging on being too hot which seems a strange thing to complain about for a campsite. Great for adults once you got used to them but a couple of degrees cooler would have been good for kids. We've been here for the last 4 years and will keep coming back. It was as busy as we've seen it this year with some very large groups of families but everyone is respectful and friendly. Easy access to lots of great businesses on the same site. The Canteen does great breakfasts and lunches. Everyone loved their cream teas. The Garrison cocktail bar was great fun on Saturday night with live music.
