Longleat Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

Clean facilities. Clean pitches. Friendly staff. And good for SEND families, giving the staff a heads up about our daughters additional needs before our arrival helped alot. Lovely having fast food stalls in the evening. Games room closed to early at 6pm. So close to Longleat Safari Park it reduced alot of stress going back and forth. Good pitches with electricity with no issues. Terrible WiFi. Nice listening to the sealions next door! And a word to anyone who is planning to camp here who minds children playing....children are only children once. They are more limited these days where they can play freely so please be mindful of that if you want peace and quiet 24/7. You won't get that here. No one was unruly or noisy but there were some lovely children playing football and when their ball accidentally went near someone's campervan pitch they were screamed at to move away. Totally uncessary to scream and shout and children when they were already apologising. If children are bothering you on site complain to staff properly who will take action or find somewhere adult only. Thank you for a lovely stay. Only reason for not 10 stars is people kept walking through our pitch instead of around due to being next to facilities and next to a clue to treasure hunt and the WiFi issue and the games room closing early.

Fantastic campsite, shower block cleaned regularly and tidy, reception did basic shopping items, reception staff friendly and helpful, we went at Easter and there was a easter hunt on the campsite, playground onsite was good for the kids, campsite has its on entrance to the zoo which is walking distance. The campsite is so close to theI safari/zoo that you can hear the animals from the campsite. We also had a pair of tame ducks come to our awning daily and the kids feed them.
