Such a beautiful campsite. With clean ablutions. Three loos, but only one shower. I was surprised that there’s a charge for the single shower (given the charge per night) costing £1 per 7min. All ablutions are clean and not too far away from the camp site. Lovely well kept grassy lawns and a beautiful view. Sites are spacious and some are adjoining a stream. Unfortunately what would be a wonderful peaceful experience is often interrupted by the loud sound of passing road traffic from the road - where cars / trucks go speeding by. There’s also a train station nearby - and although I never heard the trains, I would often hear the trains “hoot” when passing through the station. Such a pity the noise detracts from what would be an amazing site. The gentleman who greeted us upon entry was friendly and informative.
