Great hotel and location. The rooms were lovely. The high powered hairdryer was a highlight! Choice of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was really good value, quality with excellent variety. Complimentary parking was welcomed, the lifts were very efficient and the staff were all really attentive.

This Marriott is simply one of the best we have stayed at in the UK. The facilities are brilliant, from the spacious, well-equipped gym to the rooftop restaurant. The rooms are lovely; our suite overlooked the farmlands and was thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of space to move around. The bathroom was also well laid out, with quality fittings and a shower that had excellent water pressure. What truly stood out, however, was the service from all the staff. Whether it was the reception team, restaurant staff, or housekeeping, everyone we interacted with displayed genuine warmth and a sincere desire to help. I would especially like to commend Teresa, who was an absolute delight in welcoming us and making us feel both at home and valued throughout our stay. She was always keen to assist and offered thoughtful, practical advice. Jessica Pascual was also incredibly helpful in arranging our room extension, practical, efficient, and considerate throughout the process. Emma and Prince were equally respectful and professional. The level of customer service throughout the hotel is exceptional and rare to find in the UK, one of the most courteous and capable front desk teams we have encountered in recent times. As Platinum Elite members, we truly appreciated how the staff went out of their way to recognise our loyalty, a thoughtful and much-valued gesture. The breakfast spread was generous, though I felt there could be a few more options for fresh fruit and vegetarians. That said, the service remained impeccable. The common areas of the hotel are beautifully furnished, and despite the presence of large business groups, there was always a quiet space to relax. Complimentary parking is another wonderful perk, especially given the hotel’s proximity to the city. Overall, the staff at this hotel made us feel truly at home, we can’t wait to return.
