Been at this gym since for a few years now and it has gone from strength to strength. A fantastic gym with great facilities, staff are super friendly and always up for a chat before or after a session. The sauna is a great added feature not to mention the addition of the squash court. The HPZ really takes the gym to another level and with it being recently refurbished its just incredible, really gives it that elite sports facility feeling. The gym has recently all been refurbished and it looks phenomenal, from the paint work to the new floor mats just a massive upgrade from the old version. The separation of each room is fantastic so you can pick and choose which room you would like to train in. They have recently moved the machines around in the machine room which has made it so much more spacious and a great environment to train in. Cant speak on the female changing rooms but the male ones are really spacious and clean, their hand soap always smells nice too which is a bonus. One of the best smith machines Ive used in a gym super smooth and makes using it an ease. Staff are always up to help with any questions you may have and very knowledgeable. Never taken a class there so cant really speak on that. Another massive bonus is the lockers to keep belongings, most gyms tend not to have these which is a brilliant feature which other gyms should adopt. The water fountain is also great provides ice cold water every time. Gym is regularly cleaned throughout the day keeping it in great condition all day. Regarding over crowding, it has only ever been over crowded once but that was in January / February when new year members join other than that never really had an issue with over crowding. Parking is great too you can park literally opposite the scenic Bristol County Ground and whilst on the topic of cricket you get free access to cricket matches during the cricket season which tops it all off for me as a massive cricket fan. Overall a definite 5 ⭐️‘s from me

Separated into rooms makes people new to gyms much more comfortable, I find. Great selection of classes and a free personal trainer session when you join makes it so you always feel supported. Free lockers, plus a sauna. Best gym I've belonged to. It also gives you access to the cricket and discounts at several nearby cafés, etc. I do wish there was more space for bikes, and that it opened slightly earlier. There's apparently a swimming pool further away but I need to look into that more before I let the distance knock a star off.
