Visiting Whistable with young children and phoned to book a session as online not user- friendly. Pricey, but used to prices in the north, so not duch a surprise. Also had to pay to park. Changing room crowded and grubby. Floor tiles dirty and evidence of green mould apparent. Wet surfaces meant clothes got saturated. Lockers needed coins too - admittedly returned, but not convenient with hands full. Had to leave children in the ( communal! Personal privacy not a consideration!) shower after swimming to retrieve shampoo......overall a cold and unpleasant experience. I'm sure local authority rates are high in that part of Kent, but the people of Whitstable are definitely being short- changed on swimming 'facilities'. Staff were nice.
