It’s the last chance, or the first I guess, to have a wee, get fuel, food, papers or just a coffee on the M1 Motorway. I didn’t used to like it much because the potholes were big enough to take your tyre of its rim and I dread to think how many were and how the Miriad of delivery mopeds coped. The certainly didn’t need traffic calming measures but guess what? They had the biggest road humps I think I’ve ever seen. Anyway thank the gods all those problems have gone. Tarmac is good and smooth and the traffic humps are normal. The most used part of the services are always the toilets and these are placed through the front entrance and down to ,the right. There is a Game Zone on the corner. Due to it being just below ground level the are both a few steps and a ramp for the less mobile of us. Toilets are fine with the weird Dyson hand driers stolen from scooter handlebars but they work great despite that. Coming out of the “Loo’s “ there is a Waitrose and then WH Smith’s on your right and then round to the left you have Subway and then Burger King. To finish the food and drink there is a Starbucks as you come in the Services entrance who have a sit in and an outside seating area for when it’s nice weather. Outside there is a washing machine pod where you can wash upto 20kg (or so the sign says). There are 24 Tesla superchargers then 4 Grid serve chargers by the walkway to the entrance and all round the outside left of the car park (with your back to the entrance) there are 24 charging points, but I’m not sure of the company who operates them,
