We had a truly wholesome and enjoyable three-day stay here. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff and fellow campers from all over Europe. Our pitch was fantastic - spacious, well-kept, and perfectly located for both exploring Oxford city centre and travelling on to other areas. The facilities were good, with decent washing-up areas and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The site itself had a lovely, relaxed feel, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. My only small criticism is that there didn’t appear to be any recycling facilities on site. Everything was going into general waste bins, which was a shame - especially as encouraging recycling could help reduce the bin overspill. With such good washing-up facilities already, it would be easy for guests to rinse and recycle their containers. That said, if the lack of recycling is my only complaint from the whole stay, I’d say that’s a great result. We left with happy memories, having met lots of lovely travellers and enjoyed a very comfortable, well-located base.

Liked it a lot. No defined pitches is so much nicer. One field is for smokeless only. Ignore older photos of the muddy field tap - there is now a base around it. Shower/toilet/washing up block is modern and kept clean, but reviews of varying poor water pressure or little/no hot water are still the case. Not really an issue during the week when the site is quieter, but weekends can be fully booked and then it's a problem - too many people for the facilities to cope at that point. Owners were fine, animals a bonus. Food wagons open at the weekend and very handy. It's a nice site 👍
