The Strand Lido

Very good few hours. Looks like we are on holiday. Lazy river all around the out side (take a rubber ring), cafe inside for drinks etc. Slide down all around the outside into the lazy river. Good park outside (free) to enjoy before or after swimming. Parking was reasonable, about £5 for six hours. Only downside was that the splash pad outside that is also free wasn't working which is common when reading other reviews. Also if possible, take your own umbrella as there is very little shade inside the pool.

A fun day our for kids and adults alike. The salt water element was a nice surprise as I prefer that to chlorinated water. Punctuality is key here as its the best way to find a spot to place your belongings. It's kept fairly clean and even has food available to purchase, though I've never tried it. The facilities outside the pool are a major benefit as well as the kids can tire themselves out even more before or after swimming on the play equipment.
