Fantastic splash pool for all ages 0+ The pool boasts the benefits of newly added accessable/wheelchair access benches and 6 new shade canopies. The filter room/box has also been fenced off. It's an absolute highlight of living in the city with children, the pools are both clean and maintained impeccably. When we attended there was a small tear in the rubber and the parks team were out IMMEDIATELY and within 5 minutes of it being reported ! It was entirely actioned and the fix initiated immediately, 2 full drying and fixing days later the public were back and the pool was as new. There are some RARE intermittent days where the fountains aren't on consistently, however from what I understand they are on a timer, and technology is a wonderful Invention when it works! There are toilets in the tennis club cafe directly nextdoor, also in the public toilets a stone's throw away by the day carpark. The tennis club cafe is very highly recommended and reviewed also! There's a nut-free ice cream van parked opposite (yes, it's their spot! So great for allergies) also deep blue chip shop. There are plenty of places to sit across benches, grassy areas and sheltered benches across the far wall. There is a small trampoline in the far right and also a lovley little "play house' type feature. An abundance of marine themed creatures decorate the rubber flooring, along with some 3d bubbles that are great to jump and climb on and use in role play. There a 'wobbily bridge' on the right along with more 3d bubbles. I would mention that the cons are There are metal water covers in the grassy area by the pump/filter/maintenance room that become EXTREMELY hot, this has been reported and I await an outcome. The metal of the "wobbly bridge" is a daft idea considering the rest of the stepping areas are wooden and the metal is, obviously slippy when wet. In 2022 the pool rubber flooring, had not been pressure washed enough during the heatwave and an smelly slippery alge had built up, causing a lot of children to fall and become injured, the pool was closed and cleaned but this occoured twice more after the initial event, I hope that they have learned from the mistakes for following years/heatwaves

Z splash pool is excellent it is a really good place to go if you want to have a nice splash About in a nice pool that is why it is called a splash pool unfortunately while I was there I wanted to have a swim and I was told that because I was not splashing I was not allowed to swim that was a bit strange they said that I should go to the swimming pool if I wanted to swim and I said well that is very strange because I went to the swimming pool and I dived in and my swimming costume nearly came off but they didn't call it the diving the pool and your swimming costume will fall off pool which was a little bit misleading anyway I had a nice splash and I splashed water on some people and then I I was told stop splashing so much in the splash pool and I said but it's called the splash pool and I have to splash and they said well that's not really what it is supposed to do you are supposed to Splash but don't splash too much because people are getting wet and people don't like to get wet they really to find that a little bit difficult and I said but this is a splash pool and I need to have a little splash otherwise you will ask me to leave because this is not a sitting around drinking little cocktails pool
