PureGym Southampton Central | New Kit Just Landed!

Look, it's a cheap gym, so I am not expecting it to be premium inside. There is however, a few basic things that they need to addressed..... the air conditioning could be so much better. Downstairs it doesn't seem so bad but the upper lever where most of the cardio machines are, its warm and the A/C really needs looking at. Blue roll for wiping down machines etc, in an abundance on the lower level, but upper level, the dispenser is always empty and not always a roll there to be used. I guess staff stay downstairs most of the time at their desk and don't see it needs replacing upstairs. Small gents locker / changing room. Half the showers have doors missing off them. I have visited 3 out of 4 days recently and the same smelly dirty clothes have been hanging up on the hooks and the place doesn't look like its had a good clean. Fix the bloody taps, one tap in particular is pushed down to use then just stays on wasting hundreds of litres of water. Every time I've been in there it just runs and wastes so much water. Quite a few elliptical machines make weird squeaky noises as you use them, so irritating to hear while working out. Like I said, it's not a premium gym but on the whole it is fairly good value for money but please get the basics such as A/C, cleaning and maintenance right.

Its good, the only thing which lacks in this gym is the punching bag and the hygiene in the recovery zone, massaging machine. when you enter, the right one, when you start that machine it stinks really really bad. And for that am gonna give it 3 star. Except that everything is good.
