Visited the Prince Regent Swimming Pool in Brighton today for the steam room and sauna and sadly had a very disappointing experience. The changing rooms felt tired and not very clean. The steam room door kept swinging open, there was very little steam, and because the outlet was positioned above knee height, my lower body actually got cold rather than warmed. The sauna was hot but so packed with people that it felt stifling and uncomfortable, rather than like a calm, healing heat. All the showers were cold as well, so instead of leaving relaxed, we left shivering. We were given a full refund, but overall it was not the restorative visit we had hoped for.
