Leys Pools & Leisure Centre

Went to play badminton after almost 10 years of no play. My youngest brother in law kindly booked a court, and me and my 2 sons were invited. I used to coach badminton to primary school kids back in the days - like almost 20 years ago and played socially. Seems like still had the touch - had a good run around and got few good backhands in there (and won all my matches 😊). Sons 10 and 7 seemed eager and quick to catch so will most likely try to book a court in Birmingham and train them up. The hall it self was ok - but a bit out dated it seemed, and you have to go through the whole swimming pool , changing room etc to get to the courts.

Unfortunately for my first experience I hated, staff not much helpful , I felt lost don't now who to speak to, swimming teacher didn't even call my son I had to speak to her and due to his speech delay she didn't even done much effort to get him interested in the lesson, he was for 30 min in the splash pool by himself. After this I went to reception to get info about the classes and no one knew what to do, the manager came to tried to help but I still left without any further information.
