Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be going back. The website makes it sound as if you’ll be camping on the beach - that is not the case. The website also notes that campers have a 10 metre pitch so you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other - that’s not the case either. This is a large field, and was full of families and groups. It’s a short walk to the sea, big open skies at night and the kids were having a wonderful time running around with flashing toys at night - I’m sure they all had a lovely time, but not a peaceful private escape to I’d hoped for. I’d suggest the website is updated to reflect that. In 40 years of camping I have never been anywhere with so many signs and instructions. Ever 🤣 Compostable toilets which reminded me of a festival block - stinky. Very basic showers - you wouldn’t want to touch anything. I can see the staff work hard and they were all polite and helpful. But there are many sites across the UK that have far more charm and offer better value for money. Not for me, sorry.
