JD Gyms Hempstead Valley

This brand new gym is excellent! Located right next to Sainsbury's with plenty of free parking, this gym has it all. Brand new, loads of equipment and there's some cool things that you probably haven't seen in other gyms, like the quirky mood lighting and the foliage on the walls. I don't think you'll struggle to find equipment to use (see the pictures) and people seem to enjoy the fitness classes, which are included in the cost of membership. I also like the saunas in the changing room! Overall, this is definitely worth the money - have a look around if you're not sure about joining. But I guarantee that you won't regret it!

Average gym but on the higher end of the price. JD Chatham is the same price and significantly better. I use the gym in the mornings and plenty of equipment, can't make a comment about evenings. Decent variety of equipment, would be nice to have a standing calf raise though. Mens toilets and changing rooms are so gross, something needs to be done about the smell in there.
