JD Gyms Basingstoke

I’ve been training at JD Gyms Basingstoke for a while now and absolutely love it. The space is huge with lots and lots of machines—whether you’re into cardio, free weights, plate-loaded strength or functional training, you’ll find everything you could want. According to their kit list they have 250+ machines, a large free weights & cardio area, an Eleiko functional rig, sled track, dedicated glute zone, etc.  The staff are super supportive and friendly. From checking you in to helping you with equipment or just offering tips, they make the gym feel welcoming rather than intimidating. I’m also a big fan of the sauna and luxury changing rooms—they’re a real bonus after a tough session. The only thing to note is that it can get quite busy on Monday and Tuesday evenings (and evenings in general). If you prefer a quieter session you might want to go a bit earlier or later. Overall, for the quality of the facility, the variety of equipment, the free parking and 24/7 access, this gym is a fantastic choice in Basingstoke. Highly recommend!

Great gym with lots of equipment so you can get on everything you need, even if you can't there are lots of machines you can use whilst you wait, which is a rare amongst most gyms in Basingstoke. Everything is clean and the parking is huge, good price and no contract. Crowd is mixed, changing rooms aren't as big as other gyms and there is only a sauna but still good for the price - those are my only negatives.
