Holiday Inn Portsmouth by IHG

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Excellent facilities including Swimming pool, Gym, Sauna and jacuzzi. parking available at £5 overnight, can get busy but permits are provided for road side parking if no parking space is available at the hotel's car park. We were booked in a premium room on the 5th floor with amazing views of Spinnaker Tower. The premium room had complimentary biscuits, drinking chocolate, tea, Pepsi, kit kats and bottled water. there was also a coffee machine and a mini fridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us some excellent recommendations for local excursions. This was our third stay at this hotel and will definitely stay here again when visiting Portsmouth.

We stayed here when we went to the Victorious Festival during the August Bank Holiday weekend. Really easy access to the site from the hotel. The rooms were a little on the small side - or perhaps just overly furnished? I think some space could've been created by having the TV on the wall & the huge table desk removed. Staff were lovely though. Breakfast was good (although we were directed to sit at an uncleared table one morning with the promise it would be cleaned...and it wasn't 😕). Shower was good. Room was hot & air-con didn't seem to work. But heavy curtains and fan helped. Overall- good stay - if perhaps a tad pricey.
