HAPPY Brighton

We booked this hostel for Pride weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better location—super central and easy to get to. The instructions for accessing the building and our room were clear and straightforward, which made arrival smooth. We were a group of six sharing a room. The space was decent, but it did get quite warm and stuffy. Thankfully, the staff provided a fan, and when that wasn’t enough, they quickly brought us a second one. Big shoutout to the team—they were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. A few cleanliness issues to note: • The toilet bowl was stained and could really use a deep clean with proper bleach. • The shower worked fine, but there was visible mould around the base—something a quick spray could fix. • Doors had noticeable hand marks and could do with a good wipe down, especially since rooms are shared by strangers. Overall though I would deffo recommend staying here and would happily book again! :)

Many people are there long term and I thought it was interesting that they requested I paid via bank transfer but I was having issues and they were very accommodating and let me pay in person. Staff is kind and helpful. There wasn’t lockers for storing your bags in the rooms. But the location is so phenomenal!
