Eastney Swimming Pool

I went for a swim here a week ago on Saturday morning, it was glorious & I loved my swim. The pool was surprisingly warm, I thought as it was an old building the water would be chilly but not at all. My only regret was that after living all my life in Portsmouth, I'm now 63, I only wished I had used this venue before. It is delightful and all that anyone could possibly wish for. Lovely pool, good showers in changing room and easy free parking!!! Well done Pompey, got something worth having here. Thank you :-)

Old Victorian pool, lots of history, (Cockleshell heroes and many other WWII heroes learned diving skills here), great for swimming. Warm changing rooms, free parking, friendly staff, it only loses points because it's not very big and the changing rooms have steps leading to them. The spectators gallery is via a ramp from the car park but no toilets accessible without using stairs.
