I am delighted to be a member of this leisure centre at Dover I had a good tour of the whole place with a lovely member of staff called Bridie she was so kind and caring and listened to all my questions with patience Bridie was most helpful and empathetic towards my needs I give her 10/10 she is indeed an asset to the company, this leisure centre has lots to offer plenty of parking spaces a large entrance plenty of facilities for wheelchair users including toilets showers and café it's a lovely clean and spacious centre with everything you need the swimming pool is large and has beautiful views of the countryside and fields with same views from the fitness rooms they also have a sauna and steam room a separate children's pool, squash courts, football pitches, climbing facilities and the people are very friendly and courteous I compared this centre with the Bannatyne in Broadstairs and I can honestly say there was a huge difference between the two with the private centre Bannatyne costing £72. A month and looking like a rundown public centre on the other hand the Dover leisure centre is free to use for the public there are no costly contracts cancel any time, there was no upgrade in decor or facilities at Bannatyne which you would expect for a private centre, the Dover centre costs £45. For the full package and the centre it's self is so much better. The decor the space the facilities the cleanliness friendliness and amount of changing rooms showers lockers ect never failed me this is what I'd expect from a private centre but I must say Bannatyne in Ashford Kent is a good large centre in my experience it's only been the Broadstairs centre that let's them down. 😀

The gym is lovely, however good luck if you ever want to use the swimming pool/sauna. 3/4 lanes of the pool is usually booked up most evenings with swimming lessons so everyone who books a lane swim is left with a couple lanes if that or have to go in the just swim and the sauna is so small there’s usually a queue for it or you’re all squeezed in, currently the sauna is broken however no one tells you this until you turn up on the day and go to use it and it’s switched off and locked? And when asked when it will be fixed no one knows so not very helpful either. Very frustrating if you’ve had to travel far to use it!
