Stracathro Services is hands down one of the best truckstops around. The food is consistently excellent – hearty, fresh, and clearly made with care. Whether you're grabbing a breakfast roll or sitting down for a proper meal, you're getting quality and good value every time. The staff are friendly too, which makes a big difference when you're on the road all day. Parking is straightforward, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. It's a proper stop where you can rest and refuel, not just your truck but yourself too. The only downside – and it's worth mentioning – is the single shower. When it’s busy, especially in the evening, there can be a queue, and you might end up waiting 20 to 30 minutes for your turn. It's not a deal-breaker, but for a place that gets a lot of drivers through the door, a second shower would go a long way. All in all, Stracathro is still a brilliant stop and well worth the visit. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait if you’re needing a shower during peak hours.
