PureGym Glasgow Silverburn

I have been going to this gym for around four to five months, and one major issue stands out, cleanliness. In all this time, I have only seen a staff member do a proper deep cleaning of the equipment once. For a gym environment, that is seriously unhygienic. I have worked out at several PureGym branches before, and their cleaning standards were much higher. Here, it often feels like equipment hygiene is not a priority at all. The management staff is usually on their phones, and rarely seem involved in maintaining cleanliness. I have never seen anyone wiping down machines, sanitising surfaces, or making any effort to ensure a hygienic workout space. The general cleaning of floors and washrooms is usually good, though there are occasional issues, especially when urinals are ignored. This gym really needs to take hygiene more seriously. A clean workout environment is not a luxury, it is a basic expectation.

This gym has really went downhill in the past year , showers are really filthy , disabled toilet out of order for a month now , hand dryer and hair dryer not working for 2/3 weeks now , smashed mirror in the squat rack just covered over with cardboard , broken lockers , maintence and hygiene is a massive let down , really enjoyed going to this gym since it opened , not so much now
