PureGym Edinburgh Ocean Terminal - Upgrade Complete!

Probably the most clostraphobic gym I've ever been to. With people working out in front of fire exits.. a studio that never gets used for classes, as they are being run in the main gym.. it's like mayhem in there, People leaving weights laying around.. the showers absolutely stink.. and only one toilet (number 2 ) but you can use the public toilets on the same floor.. not really what I paid for. Noise is an issue, spinning class in the main gym sounds like an amplifier (boxed), on top of the person shouting over the music.. but don't complain, as you'll just get told what I was told.. YOU CAN ALWAYS JOIN ANOTHER GYM. So I did. I highly recommend that if you're thinking of leaving, just leave.. or if your thinking of joining, have a look around first.. this gym will give you anxiety.. it's cramped over heated, noisy.. oh and not up to health and safety standards with weights, and people working out in front of the fire exits.. Excellent gym. I travel internationally often and it's hard to find a good gym with the following 2 features that PureGym does have: -A 30-day no-contract membership with the price clearly displayed on the website!! (bonus points for being able to sign myself up online and getting a simple QR code to access the gym) -Power racks, free weights, machines, cables, and cardio equipment! I LOVE that there are plenty of bars, racks, and deadlifts platforms to accommodate like 15 (?) people at the same time. Other nice features are the app that shows how many people are currently there. It has only been busy like 1-2 times in the past 2 weeks and otherwise has been pretty chill. I like the variety of cardio equipment and the 4 stair climber machines. The entire place is pretty big. The locker rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean. I think the only complaint at all that I can think of is that there's not a cleaning station with paper towels and cleaning solution near the cardio equipment, so you have to walk all the way to one side or another side of the gym. I asked one employee on my first day where those were located and he was very kind describing where they were, so I appreciate the customer service. Price isn't too bad for 30 days either. Oh, I guess one other small complaint would be that there aren't nice cycling bikes elsewhere in the gym. Those nice ones are only in the room for cycling classes, so the remaining bikes in the gym are the Concept 2 bikes with no gears or the ones with the big seats for old folks. It's a small thing but just something I noticed.
