Parker House is a great spot for students new to Dundee to settle in, feel safe and make new friends at University. Rooms are modern and well kept, communal spaces are large and great for socialising and the facilities available (gym, common room, study room) are handy. An extra bonus is that IQ uses AppWash as opposed to circuit laundry which is a huge plus for any student (my t-shirts have survived this year!). Any maintenance issues or problems you’re having get dealt with quickly and it’s easy to raise faults in the IQ app. Parker House holds regular little events in reception and the communal spaces which is an easy way to socialise (and also get little treats.) Overall I’d highly recommend, Parker is safe and welcoming and both the daytime reception staff and nighttime security guards are incredibly friendly and go a long way to making you feel part of a wee community, even if you came to Dundee alone. <3
